Your agreement says 70% off base rates and a fixed fuel surcharge. The bill says something else. Reweigh and reclass fees show up with no scale ticket. Residential delivery gets charged to a warehouse. The same PRO appears twice. Federal law gives you 180 days to contest each one.
What the freight agent checks
Discount applied short
Gross linehaul times your contract discount, compared to the discount line, to the cent.
Fuel surcharge above contract
Fuel charge divided by net linehaul, compared to the contract percentage.
Reweigh or reclass without documents
A weight or class adjustment is reversible unless the carrier produces the certified scale ticket or inspection certificate.
Residential delivery to a business
Consignee name and address say business; the bill says residential.
Duplicate PROs
Same PRO, same charges, on two freight bills.
By hand
Take one month of freight bills. Multiply gross linehaul by your discount and compare to the discount line. Divide the fuel line by net linehaul and compare to your fuel percentage as of the pickup date. Ask for the scale ticket on every reweigh, in writing.
The window
180 days from the freight bill under 49 U.S.C. 13710.
Who pays
The carrier, as a corrected freight bill or credit memo.
What it looks like
One PRO: gross $1,104.30, contract discount 70%, discount line $662.58 instead of $773.01, fuel surcharge $110.43 on $331.29 net linehaul against an 8.1% contract, plus a $45 reweigh with no ticket. About $267 on a single bill.

How it works
1. Give the agent its files
PDF, CSV, a photo of the bill, an email forward, or an automatic feed. The freight agent reads every line into the same structure.
2. It finds and prepares
Rules run nightly. Each finding records the evidence, the amount and a confidence. Claims above your thresholds wait for your approval.
3. Filed, chased, matched
Disputes send with one click, replies are read automatically, credits are matched to your invoices, and you pay 30% of what landed, on the 1st.
The free audit reads one file in about 30 seconds: PDF, CSV or a photo. Nothing is stored.
Open the free auditOld Dominion, XPO, Estes, SAIA, R+L, ABF, FedEx Freight, TForce and any other LTL carrier; the agent works from the columns, not the logo.
Drop the PDFs. The agent reads them into the same line structure.
You review a drafted email and click Send; replies come back into the claim automatically.
Free account, accept the authorization, add a card, give the freight agent one file. 30% of what lands, nothing otherwise.
